Meet Our Leadership

Alpine Children’s Academy is proudly led by a family-owned organization with over 20 years of experience in early childhood education. Since opening its first childcare center in 2003, the organization has grown to own and operate several licensed childcare centers throughout Southern California.

Alpine Children’s Academy has been under this family’s leadership since March 2016. Their commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment continues to guide the academy’s mission of helping every child learn, grow, and thrive.

Ms. Janessa

Center Director

I have been dedicated to the field of early childhood education since December 2015. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with children of all ages, from infants to school-age, as well as gain valuable experience in administration.

Through these experiences, I’ve developed a deep passion for providing children with a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where they can grow, learn, and thrive. I believe that building strong, trusting relationships with families and supporting a positive, professional team are essential to creating a successful learning community.

As Director, my goal is to ensure that every child and family feels supported and valued, and that our program maintains the highest standards of care and education.

When I’m not at the center, you can usually find me at the gym, doing all the mommy things with my son, spending time with my family, enjoying the outdoors weather at the beach, pool, hiking, baking or doing photography.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of your child’s early learning journey. I look forward to working with each of you!❣️

Ms. Leah

Infant Teacher

I was born and raised in El Cajon, California, and I am a proud mother of three and grandmother of three. My family is the center of my life, and I cherish every opportunity to spend time with them. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, whether it’s relaxing at the beach, hiking, working out, or simply embracing a healthy and active lifestyle.

I earned my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education while living in North Carolina, where I also obtained my California Admin I and Admin II credentials. Caring for and teaching children has always been my passion, and I have dedicated nearly 30 years to the field of early childhood education.

Throughout my career, I have been committed to creating a nurturing, engaging, and creative learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to grow. I love incorporating fun, hands-on experiences into my classroom that encourage curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. My warm, energetic, and compassionate approach has allowed me to build meaningful connections with the children and families I serve.

Being an educator is more than a career—it’s my calling. There is nothing more rewarding than helping children learn, grow, and discover their unique potential. Their laughter, curiosity, and joy brighten each day, and I truly cannot imagine doing anything else.

Kristin

Ms. Kristin

Infant Teacher Assistant

I have a passion for working with babies and love being part of their earliest learning experiences. As a mom of three boys, I understand how important it is for children to feel safe, loved, and encouraged every day.

In our classroom, you’ll almost always hear music playing and see us singing and dancing! I love getting the little ones moving because music and movement help them learn, build confidence, and have fun.

One of my favorite things to do with the babies is create special art projects using their tiny handprints and footprints. I love turning those little prints into creative keepsakes that families can treasure for years to come. Seeing parents smile when they receive something their child made is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.

I also enjoy watching each child reach new milestones and celebrating every accomplishment, big or small. My goal is to create a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment where every baby feels loved, supported, and excited to explore the world around them.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my three boys, trying new recipes, and making lasting memories together. I’m so grateful to be a part of your child’s early learning journey, and I look forward to getting to know your family!

Ms. Bree

Preschool Teacher

This is my first year teaching in a preschool classroom, and I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of each child’s learning journey. Before joining ACA, I worked as an English tutor, where I discovered my passion for helping children build confidence and learn new skills.

I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English from San Diego State University. My favorite age group is 2- and 3-year-olds because I love watching their personalities blossom as they explore the world around them. One of my favorite classroom activities is art, especially painting and creating fun projects with a variety of materials that encourage creativity and self-expression.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading, making art, spending time with my five dogs, and being with family and friends. One of my favorite children’s book characters is Pete the Cat because he reminds us to stay positive and embrace every adventure. I feel so fortunate to help little ones grow, learn, and develop a lifelong love of discovery, and I look forward to making every day in the classroom a fun and meaningful experience!

Jeannie

Mrs. Jeannie

School Age Teacher

I have been working in childcare since 1990, and what I love most about teaching is helping shape young minds. When I first started at Alpine Children’s Academy, I worked with the toddlers. I had so much fun with that age group and truly enjoyed watching them learn and grow. Today, I work with our school-age children, transporting them to and from school and spending time with them before and after their school day.

My favorite activities with the children are creating art projects and playing outside. I also enjoy sharing my favorite children’s books, including Where the Wild Things Are and the wonderful books by Dr. Seuss.

I chose a career in early childhood education because I have always loved teaching children and making a positive difference in their lives.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy going out to dinner with family and friends. I also love camping by the bay, spending time in the desert with loved ones, and relaxing around the campfire. One of my favorite hobbies is going on Harley rides with my husband, Elon. We’ve been happily married for 25 years. One day, I hope to visit London and experience all it has to offer.
